NTR Gardens is a small park located adjacent to HussainSagar. It is run and managed by Buddha Purnima Project Authority, which also manages the Lumbini Park. The park is spread across an area of 55 acres and is situated geographical centre of the city. NTR gardens is deemed as one of most expensive gardens in India as it was constructed with a lavish budget of 40 crores. The park is named after the great leader and also houses the memorial of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Late Shri N T Rama Rao. The park was constructed by the government to honour such a great leader. Today, NTR Garden is among the most beautiful locations in Hyderabad and also considered as a great spot for leisure and entertainment. Inside the park, you can find Machan Tree, a play area for children, a Car Cafe, Japanese Park and Souvenir Shops.
How to reach NTR gardens?
As the NTR gardens is quite near to HussainSagar, you can easily get to the place through train, bus and taxi. The nearest MMTS railway station is Necklace Road and James Park. It is located at a distance of 30 kilometres from Hyderabad Airport.

The ideal time to visit NTR gardens is during December to February when the weather is cool.
