The Archaeological and Heritage Museum situated in Nizamabad is one of the most frequented attractions of the district. It was inaugurated in the year 2001 and has been one of the favoured destinations for the tourists. You can get an insight on the lives and styles of the indigenous people of the region. There are three sections in the museum, which are- sculptural gallery, bronze decorative gallery and archaeological section. All these sections have had several unique collections of artefacts on display, which are the manifestation of the ancient culture and heritage.

The museum is located in Nizamabad and can easily be reached via rail and road. The nearest railway station to the Museum is Nizamabad railway station. It is also reachable by bus, which regularly ply from Hyderabad. The ideal time to visit the place is from December to February.
