Balijipeta is a village and mandal headquarters near bobbili in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh, India.It is located 65 KM towards North from Vizianagaramand 103 KM away from Visakhapatam. Balijipeta is in the border of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts. According to historians most of the people of Lord Baliji caste have migrated from this village.
There is a famous Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple which was constructed in 1869. People of Balijipeta have very strong faith on Lord Venkateswara. One of the biggest business gathering (Santha) of vizianagaram district will be held on every Friday in this village. Jagannadha Radha Yarta which is very famous 10 days puja will be celebrated on every July is the major attraction of this village. People from different villages will gather here to participate in this puja every year.
