Govindapuram is located in Pusapatirega Mandalin Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. It is 30 KM towards east from Vizianagaram District. The name Govindapuram (Govinda another name of Lord Krishna) itself means that it is the village where Lord Krishna exist in. This temple is very famous for its sculptural beauty, particularly for the sculpture of Lord Krishna on a 4 horses chariot. The most attraction of this village is the Gita Mandir which is90 feet length, 45 feet width, 63 feet height. This Gita Mandir was built based on the essence of Bhagavad Gita. This temple is visited by many people from across the Country.
