Penchalakona is an ancient place where Lord Narasimha who was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu appeared in the form of rock in Yoga Mudra. A large number of devotees and tourists visit this place. How to reach Penchalakona?
Penchalakona is situated in Rapur which is a mandal in Nellore district. The distance from the Nellore is 70 kms which can be covered by taxi or bus. Once you reach Rapur, you can also take the bus, which is available every half an hour. The nearest railway station is Guduru. The ideal time to visit the place is from November to March.
