Kerala, god’s own country, is filled with full of greenery, waterfalls and beaches where Cherai Beach is one among them. Cherai beach is located in Paravur taluk of Kerala and is called as the Golden beach. This is a sandy beach with the backwaters and sea combination. Walking through the beach, you can find varieties of sea shells in different sizes and shapes.




This is a lovely beach with waves, breeze, sand, rocks and backwaters along with the green coconut trees and lush green paddy fields in surroundings that fascinates you with its charming exotica. Also you have cherai beach resort that gives you long beach in front view and serene and calm back waters behind it. One can also see the fishermen catching the fishes in the net. Even Dolphins are seen here occasionally.

Cherai beach is really different from other beaches. The beach is very calm and also ideal for swimming as well as sunbathing. Also the tourists can ride the speedboats and also water-scooters. Sitting at the beach and having a look at the water during the sunset gives us a beautiful and pretty scenery. Having fun at the beach with a group is really awesome.

How to reach

Cherai beach is 25 kms away from Kochi, 30 kms from Cochin International Airport and the nearest railway station is Aluva and also Ernakulam.
