Located at the Palace road in the city of Cochin, Mattancherry Palace was a great gift presented to the Raja of Kochi, Veera Kerala Varma, by the Portuguese in 1555. The Dutch modified the palace in 1663, and therefore it is also called as the Dutch Palace.
