Dudhwa national park is located near to the Indo-Nepal border and is the major wildlife conservation project for incredible Indian Tigers. This park is truly amazing with forest atmosphere conserving the diversity of ecological balance and the landscape in this is really mind blowing with its natural beauty. Here we have the world’s richest natural heritage.




This park was established in the year 1958, but was declared as national park in 1977 and as a tiger reserve in 1988.

This park has exceptional birdlife and species. The sunlight touching the grounds and the melodious sounds of the birds welcomes you. Also the swamp deers, which are found only in Indian parks and the tigers. The species here are the Wood peckers, Bengal florican, owls, barbets, storks and Sarus cranes and many more etc.

You can move around in the Dudhwa National park by hiring jeeps and mini buses. There are also elephants that ride in the park. The best time to visit the park is from November to May.

How to reach

Lucknow is the nearest airport if planning to reach by air. The convenient way is to reach Lucknow railway station and hire the local taxis. You may also reach through private and public buses which run frequently.
