Chandavaram is a historical spot in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. The excavations at the site of Chandavaram have unearthed various artefacts related to Buddhism. A double terraced mahastupa on the top of the hill was excavated from this site. The local people call this hill as Singara Konda. Nearby this excavation site stands a ruined complex, which looks like an old monastery.

Chandavaram is located at 35 kms from Guntur, the district headquarters and 7 kms from Narasaraopet which is also the closest town from Chandavaram. Road connectivity from this town is decent. You can also reach the spot by train. The ideal time to visit the place is from December to February.
