Sanghamis a village which features among the five lingas of Lord Sangameswara. The village is located at the confluence of three rivers i.e. Vegavati, Nagavali and Suvarnamukhi, hence it is known as Triveni Sangham similar to Allahabad in North India. The Sangameswara Temple in the village is one of the five lingakshetras in the Andhra Pradesh.
When and how to visit?
Thousands of pilgrims from all over the country gather here during the festive occasion of Mahashivaratri and perform their religious rituals, thus this is the best time to visit the place. The village is about 56 kilometres from Srikakulam and 20 kilometres from Rajam.
