HussainSagar is a large lake barely 1.5 kilometres from the main city and a peaceful respite from the crowd that the people often experience. There are many attractions in and around the lake. The lake geographically divides the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and makes for an enormously popular tourist attraction. At the centre of the lake, there is a park called the Lumbini Park is constructed where a massive Buddha statue stands tall. Ferries and motor boats are available for the visitors to visit the Lumbini Park. A laser show is also held at the park, which is a popular event. The best time to visit HussainSagar is in the evening when the glory of the lake is at its peak. A walk around the waterfront is an experience of its own kind and as the dusk approaches, it becomes even more pleasant.






How to reach HussainSagar?

HussainSagaris served by MMTS rail stations at Necklace Road and James Park. It is also well connected by road and can easily be reached by bus and taxi from all parts of Hyderabad.

The climate of Hyderabad is pleasant in Winters and therefore the month of December to February is the best time to visit HussainSagar.
