Bhadrachalam Temple is a Hindu temple located in the beautiful Khammam District in Telangana. The temple is located around 325 kilometres away from the Hyderabad and is devoted to Lord Rama. It is believed that the temple is nestled at the place from where Lord Rama crossed the River Godavari on his way to Sri Lanka in order to rescue Goddess Sita.

A local tahsildar named as Kancharla Gopanna laid the foundation of the marvellous temple in the 17th century. Located on the banks of the Godavari River, this temple is the one of the most important tourist destinations and religious sites in the whole country.
