Located in Vrindavan city of Mathura, Yamuna river is pious and a famous historical pilgrimage for the Hindus all over the world that originates from Yamunotri. Thousands of people go to take a holy dip, one of the holiest rivers of the Hindus that flows through Vrindavan and Mathura.




Standing at the shore of the river at the sun rise and taking a holy dip in this water at kesi ghat is the never ending experience that one may get. And is purified of all sinful and attains love of Godhead. An arati to Yamuna Devi is given here every day at sunset.

Vrindavan also has lot many temples for the tourists to visit. The best season to visit this place is from September to March.

How to reach

Reaching Mathura is easy through air, as the nearest International airport is the Indira Gandhi International airport, where regular flights are available to all the major cities. Also the nearest airport is Agra airport which also have flights to major cities. Vrindavan has its own railway station from where you may get local transportation. Vrindavan which is at a distance of 11 kms from Mathura has regular bus service.
